Licensing Status:
Civil Aviation Licensing is not essential however it is desirable to have formal Project Management Training/Education or a Degree qualified individual in aviation or comparable discipline.

Special skills required:
Essential

1. Minimum 2 yrs aviation project management experience
2. In depth knowledge of project planning, scheduling and controlling
3. In depth knowledge to establish and manage project budgets
4. Working knowledge of human factor errors in aviation
5. Working knowledge of airworthiness and quality standards
6. Working knowledge of aircraft airframe and avionic systems
7. Intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel and project management software eg. MS Project)

Desirable

1. Formal Project Management training/ education
2. Degree qualified in an aviation discipline, or comparable discipline
3. Working knowledge of HSE issues in an aviation environment
